Error message in Alert category on ISA Sevrer 2006
Description:
Microsoft Firewall failed to start. The failure occurred during creation of logging module because the configuration property msFPCLogFileDirectory of key SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fpc\Storage\EffecTree1\Array-Root\Arrays\{BB1082CA-2827-45E1-ABC6-CB5ED58DA3A2}\Logs\Proxy-WSP is not valid. Use the source location 5.889.5.0.5720.100 to report the failure.
The error description is: Access is denied.
The failure is due to error: Access is denied.
CAUSE
The account "NETWORK SERVICE" have not the permissions to write in the cache directory "[DRIVE]\Urlcache\".
RESOLUTION
Add the "NETWORK SERVICE" with "Full Control" permissions on "[DRIVE]\Urlcache\" directory, if directory does not exist create it before add permissions.
