Description
“AVScan for AMS” is a antivirus plugin for “Argosoft Mail Server .NET” (http://www.argosoft.com). This plugin interact with the Antivirus program installed on the server that has the “Argosoft Mail Server” installed on it, it use the command line interface of the Antivirus program to scan the attachments and detect virus.
How is do work ?
When a mail arrives on the server the “Argosoft Mail Server” execute the plugin and the plugin do this tasks.
1. Checks if the mail has attachments, if no pass.
2. Extract the attachments to the temporary scan directory.
3. Run the Antivirus command line stored in the config file.
4. If virus is found run the actions defined in the config file.
5. If virus is not found deliver the message.
